Guest room/closet design question

Our new house, completed in 2014, was designed with a "bumpout" 15 x 15 feet. We are now finishing the basement level of this bumpout as a guest room.

The basement is a walkout design, with the floor a little above grade on the west side. The bumpout on that level has an outside door and a window on that side, and another window at the west end of the north side. We had always planned to partition this off for a 15 x 15 foot guest room, and now have decided to add a closet.

The design we are contemplating is to put a second wall parallel to and on the guest room side of the new partition, leaving a 2-foot space between the two walls. This two foot space will be 11 feet long and we were thinking of dividing it into two closets, one opening out on the main part of the basement for extra storage, and the other part as the guest room clothes closet. In the main partition, there will be an open-in hinged door at the east end, and a 36" pocket door entrance to the storage closet. There will be another 36" pocket door for the guest closet.

My questions are:

Should the 11 feet of closet space be divided equally between the two functions? An attractive alternative is to devote 4 feet to the storage closet (there would then be a 3' opening, for easy access), and 6'6" for the guest closet.

Should the doors be centered in the available space?

Is 24" depth (inside dimension) enough (this depth would reduce the size of the guest room to 15 x 12'3"). If I made the depth greater, that would take more away from the room itself. The door leading to the outside limits the maximum depth to about 30-34".

The doors have already been purchased, so that's not changeable. Thanks for your advice.
