Great Experience with GE Monogram

Too many bummer stories here so I wanted to share a great experience with GE Monogram customer service. We purchased a Monogram dishwasher in 2011 and had it installed in our new kitchen in 2012. A couple months ago the TIG weld on one of the hinges failed. The GE tech showed me the problem, gave me the customer service number and asked that I wait a day or so for his report before calling. I feared the worst.

I called GE two days later and was immediately transferred to a rep. She said she thought it was covered under the lifetime tub warranty and asked if she could put me on hold.

In less than 15 minutes, she was ordering a new dishwasher. She kept up on the progress via text. The third party installer missed a part and, again, GE had it right out in the mail and called multiple times to check in.

It's a bummer when something breaks, but their service was great.
