Mare, LOL, I don't know if it is supposed to, but it sure does, doesn't it? Good observation.

Nicole. Yeah, a bat. I was looking at it and thought it looked like something I should know, but couldn't nail it down. For a while I thought it was a test, but I could only see what the top one looked like to me. I thought that the bottom one looked a little like a stylized heart (vaguely, if you look at it just right).

That sure is a pretty place, murraysmom! It even inspired me to order a visitor's guide, so I will remember to schedule a visit when I travel to the area in the future.

Is the first one "Old Man's Cave"? I went to Hocking Hills several times while growing up. First on family trips and later on school-sponsored overnight field trips. Just from memory I recall the name's of a few of the attractions: Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, Cantwell Cliffs, Ash Cave, and if I remember correctly 2 other named areas.

I was always slightly bothered by them being called "Caves" since they are to my mind simply overhanging cliffs.
