Coleus plant 'failing' in many ways...

Hi,

I have rooted this coleus plant from a stem cutting. The original cutting is the most sturdy part of the plant. Since it has grown in length, the newer leaves have not been as sturdy. Rather they are droopy and look to be dying. This was the case even before I decided to pinch the top of the plant to encourage branching (and I am not sure that I did this right (you can probably see what I've done in the attached photo)). I stuck the pinched portion back into the soil because I didn't want to lose it and I want this pot to look bushier. Lastly, I chose this coleus plant to grow indoors because it typically has a deep purple color on the underside of the leaves which I love. However, this plant is losing that much desired purple color. I'm not sure if I am underwatering or overwatering, or if the pot is too small for the roots (but only one root has peeked through a drainage hole so far). Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Chanel
