HI Bttrflii I got your Nerd joke. When one of my colleagues showed up with a stack of AV mags for me to borrow, I did indeed think she was a nerd. But I was a "recreational drinker" ... er, grower ... back then. Trying to stave off full-blown addiction. I would much rather discuss AVs than football anyday. Linda, I am glad you explained about the AVSA website, it used to be great, anyone could access photos and lists. With the new website, only members can access that info, so I will join. Now I am wondering if I will get my mag or not it I join. Now that I have been collecting and growing for a few years, I have built up basic knowledge so being a member would be more meaningful to me now. Joanne

I used to always use Google to search for username site:gardenweb.com. But it seems like ever since Gardenweb added "Recent Posts" to the right side of the page, I get too many useless results. The Gardenweb search feature at the bottom of each forum index page seems to work better for me. Type in your username, select "Entire Site" and click search. =========== Edit: Oh, once you get those results, look for: "Run this search at: HortiPlex Plant Database GardenWeb Europe GardenWeb Australia ThatHomeSite!" or similar underneath the results. My handyman, Sean Dyar “screwed” (sorry for the language) me out of $3,000. Long story but I want everyone to know. He lives in Canterbury Courts in Carrollton, TX. He is a proud dad of 3 & enjoys everyday like it is his last. He is known as Sean, the main Grunt & passed out flyers in my neighborhood. He did some smaller handyman things for me & it was great. Then he suggested I paint the exterior of my house. I took his advice & paid him $1500 to start. Then he complained that he needed Hernia surgery & bc he was a friend now & met my children, I felt sorry for him & paid him the entire $3000 he quoted for the job. I have waiting since April 2021. His Fiancé, Beverly even called me (no caller ID) & asked if he & I were having “relations” bc she couldn’t believe I paid him in advance for the job. (Never, never). I was not interested in him that way. NEVER.......Yuck. Shame on me for being a nice person trying to help their fellow man. Because I paid him “cash”, I have no way to retaliate or sue him. Super stupid on my part, I know so.... I just don’t want anyone else to be taken advantage of like he “screwed” me. TMI & I shouldn’t post, but I have to bc he took advantage of me in such a bad way, I have to do something...... What comes around, goes a around. He will receive his in another way. To make it easier just open a browser, erase whats there and type in the bar: ftp://yourusername:yourpassword@www.yournewsitelocation.com Do this again by opening a second browser, but insert the imformation for your old location. This will take you directly to your files and you can drag and drop between the two. Or you can drag and drop from your documents also.
