Garage Door Opener Repair tips PT1 long
Comments (41)I have a Craftsman GDO that suddently developed the following problem. When closing the door with a remote the door will only travel a few inches and then stop (as if it struck an object) and reverse direction. I have to repeatedly press and repress the remote to coax the door all the way closed. When I shut the door with the wired button it will close all the way only if I keep the button depressed until closed. I have NO problem opening the door. I have adjusted the tracking force and distance switches and unplugged and replugged the unit to no avail. Thanks for your help. Comments (7)Thanks for the great pictures. This brings back some great memories from 2007. The one spot going down the hill in the back ( behind the greenhouse) they were just starting on in 2007 and it is good to see how that turned out. I found Karol's garden wonderful but overwhelming trying to take in the sheer numbers of seedlings. For those who want to see this fantastic garden in person, her garden will be on tour again at the 2013 National Convention - start saving your pennies now!...See MoreLudi's Vacation Pt 1 - Hallson Gardens
Comments (28)Don . Always glad to enable. :p I had no intentions of looking at or even buying GwtW. Chris has it listed in his catalog but there is no picture, so I hadn’t paid it any mind when I was scouting my first order earlier this year. Then BAM I saw it. I mistook it for Bridal Falls at first, but looking at my Bridal Falls now, the only similarity is the white margin. The leaf shape, overall size, and mound shape are completely different with GwtW. The picture that Olga has on her website does it justice. It’s going to be a biggun’ so mind where you plant it once you do decide to purchase it. :) Ademink . I actually ordered from Chris this spring as well via mail order. There were 43 hostas total in that order. After this second order arrives I’m going to need a sign in my front yard that says “Garden brought to you by Hallson”. Here is the link to my original post when my first order came . . . it was a great day. :) My First Hallson Order Jan . Shopping for new plants is something I do best !!! I do have a big task ahead of me getting these all in the ground, but it will so be worth it in 5 years when everything starts filling in and my hours of toying back and forth endlessly over which plant should go where will pay off. Thanks again everyone ! Ludi...See MoreNematodes? pt 1
Comments (3)none of them has nems .. you dont water enough ... whatever you do.. its NOT enough ... i have been in drought for 6 weeks.. using drip irrigation.. and have been watering 14 hours a day for the last 3 weeks ... on pure sand ... do you think you are close to what i am providing??? ... and mine are still looking like yours in poor locations ... go in between plants.. and dig a hole one foot round.. and one foot deep ... and this will tell you how much water.. YOU ARE PUTTING DOWN AT THE ROOT LEVEL .... start watering heavily ... and dig a second hole in a week.. and see if you got water 1 foot down.. if not.. increase water again .. and dig third hole in another week ... increase water by 2 inches per week... and see if you can get the new flush to come out blazing ... NOW IS THE TIME THAT HOSTA ARE STORING FOOD.. IN NEW ROOTS.. TO HAVE SAID ENERGY IN SPRING.. hosta come up on that stored energy .. if your hosta are stressing out this time of year... and basically sacrificing food making machines knows as leaves.. then they are not able to store max food for next year ... increase water ... and you will be rewarded next spring ... the alternative is to put your hose on a trickle.. and do one hour at each plant ... good luck ken...See Moreperen.all Zone 5a Ontario Canada
