New Additions: Valentine Pummelo and Ortanique Tangor #2
Comments (11)Thank you, Josh, that's so sweet of you!! My neighbors across the street and right next door are also avid gardeners, so we are all improving our yards, mainly with citrus, but other edibles as well. It is so much fun, as our climates allow us to grow must about anything. Our biggest issues are 4-legged pests, but if we can keep them at bay, we can have some pretty nice home orchards in our landscaping. It's pretty cool, and really nice to share my love of gardening with my neighbors. They both got a Valentine pummelo (I picked up 4 of them, one for me, Karly, and both my neighbors), and we've decided that in February of next year, we're going to have a Pummelo Recipe Contest, lol!! Comments (14)Thanks sooooo much everyone, you guys know you are just feeding the addiction. LOL. The ducks are mallards, but we have lots of ducks, geese and an occassional swan here too. Good thing they don't eat daylilies. I have always enjoyed them. I spend my entire winter planning and plotting about what to do in my yard. It is an obsession and often I see people (who don't get it) glaze over when I start to talk about the daylilies. Oh well, they shouldn't ask!!!!!Oh and the markings on the trees( my neighbors trees)-- the trees are a wild cherry and web worms favor them, so the markings are like a sticky tape that stops the nasty bug from crawling up the tree to do its damage. Thanks again everyone, you are such a great group of people who certainly get it.. Cindy...See MoreNew addition My new pocket door doesn't reach the floor!!
Comments (1)How is the new room heated and cooled? With forced air through ducts? If so, does the room have a return duct or does it depend on circulation through the door opening? There may be some technical reasons why the gap at the bottom is good even if the gap was not intentional....See Moremyermike_1micha
