replacing a 10 amp breaker with a 15 amp

I have a new dishwasher that is on a 10 amp circuit breaker. It trips as soon as you turn on the switch. The DW is rated at 12 amps. The wiring is 12 gauge. The circuit breaker is one that is tied to another one that is also 10 amps. The DW is the only thing on its circuit and the tied in breaker handles kitchen outlets. Both circuits have 12 gauge wiring. Is it ok to replace the breakers with 15 amp breakers to be able to run the DW?
