Just took some pictures and in the shade the flashlight went on and so I can show those pics of Krossa Regal :-)

Does anybody know this one with the long flower stands?

Hi Karin, I was looking through the unanswered questions and came across yours. I just planted my beauty less than a week ago. Here she is in some mid-day sun.

My hosta ID skills are terrible, but here goes. Your hosta looks blue, but that could be the light. Flower Power has super tall scapes, is vase shaped, but green. Your hosta looks more rippled than FP, too.

The Hosta Library says that 'H. Krossa Regal' can reach 36" tall by 70". I have both K.R and R.S. side by side and they are pretty close to that size.I have had them in that spot for at least 4 years and they were at least a year old when planted. I have some small Hostas in front of them that I planted last year I put them about 2 feet in front so they would understory . With those growing and the Krossa growing as well I think they will join up this year. I love to let the big ones cascade over them. I think it makes a full and natural look. With K.R. you can't go wrong because IMHO they blend well with any other Hosta. Denny

30C or 86 w 43% humidity...waiting for thundershowers. But I guess I'll put aside my Pina Colada, go outside and step up to the bar while the boys cool off. ;-) my KRs - divided about three years ago. Lots of stretching out to be done yet... I'm afraid the size of my garden will limit me next year. This year will end with 100 different hosta and if they all come back next year...So it might be sorting out and replacing:-) Not a funny thought at all:-( Will go out now and rejoice in my beautiful hosta...it's a sunny Saturday in Germany...

It looks very green in the sunlight. I just planted this hosta which came from a nursery, not a box store. Here’s another shot.

Funny to see old pictures...

This hosta has changed through the years and now I know that it is Krossa Regal :-)

It is interesting to watch them grow. I checked the pictures from 2016 again and found this...

This year I divided it because a friend wanted a piece and had this in spring:

I tried one in a sunny spot and it is doing good

and one at it's old place in the shade

I like Krossa Regal and other vase shaped hosta, they look good in the background.

Regal Splendor has the same long flower scapes
