Ken, went to look...came home with...
Comments (3)No, it was actually a perennials post, I think-the one about what we haven't planted yet, but since I bought shrubs, well... I hear you on the 100%-my husband didn't buy the "Look, I saved 30% on these" either, but since I pay for the yard stuff, he never complains. I agree that euonymous aren't exciting, but they will give me the green background I need and help obscure the already almost invisible chain link fence that the new neighbors are angry about, so with luck, it won't be too long before they can't notice it at all. Whaas, I was astounded at how little inventory this place had at this point. Good for them and good for us when we do find something we like! Of course, I can always find something... ;)...See MoreCame back from vacation and found rebloom
Comments (2)"This year I decided to try cutting back some of my clems (type 3s) hard after bloom then fertilize them, as suggested here, & see if I could get some rebloom that way. I'm pretty satisfied with the results." Leslie..that is awesome...having a longer growing season here that is what I do...Most of my Pruning group 3's are on their 3rd bloom cycle and most probably the last of the season..now my pruning group 2's begin the final bloom period for me too!!.I'm so glad that it worked for you and you had two bloom periods..well done!!...Jeanne...See MoreWent in for cauliflower - came out with....

Comments (29)Sharon- I never used to even know what Dutch iris are. But since I first saw pictures of them, I have really loved them. Decided to finially have them in a big display. If they die out after afew years (like tulips do around here) well, they are reallly cheap to replace. They come in small bubs that look very much like onion sets. I know Kay has them and I love to see her pictures of them blooming each spring. Funny you should dream about them. Not totally sure what you mean but I think you mean your bearded iris. I really think you can plant them anytime and they will just grow. Sure are pretty when they bloom in the spring though....See MoreUser
