Comments (12)Oh my goodness... they SO did NOT have them a while back when I placed MY HUGE order with them! LOVE THEM!! mmmm..... I promised myself I wouldn't buy anymore seeds this winter but I also promised myself no more seed trades until I get my ws'ing done & I broke that promise today cause I signed up for yet another! Comments (6)And what a coincidence! I just bought one today. I've never owned one either, Carrie. I was at a local garden center today and they were selling annuals at half price and perennials at 2-for-1. The polka dot was $1.40. The hypoestes is a pink one, like yours. It had been clipped back to almost nothing. It was in a little 3" pot, root bound, roots growing out the bottom. I rescued it to try as a houseplant over winter. My thought was to maybe start cuttings from it in spring. It looks like a good candidate for that. Have you ever tried it, Carrie? Or anyone else? It sure would be easier than digging up those big plants and taking those in. Did you have it in full shade, or part sun, ??? Since perennials were 2-for-one, I also got quart sized platycodon and gypsophilia. My price for a 3 was less than $8.00.
