Need small frame width for 2' X 3' window

Hi all,

I am building a mother-in-law suite and am having lots of problems with the windows. We have beautiful views so I want to maximize the glass surface and minimize the frame width for crank out casement windows. I was hoping for a 2 inch total window frame on each edge.

I thought all an aluminum window would do the trick, but very few companies are doing crank out casements. Milgard has a crank-out casement, but it is not thermally broken. Western has a crank-out casement that is thermally broken, but the frame is 3 and 1/4 inches wide.

Help! I am quite willing to go to aluminum clad wood windows, but I can't find one with thin window frames. Does anyone know of a window company that has that?

Thank you!
