Just working on those UFOs that seem to be breeding like rabbits.

Finish the two tops that are almost ready. My sister who lives about 200 miles from me is coming mid-month for a one day workshop at a LQS and I plan to go too. Not sure if I will like the pattern or process but I like the teacher.

And yesterday, I too realized the year is half over. Yikes!!

I hope to get my Antique Star quilt assembled and off to the longarmer. I heading home from NYC tonight after 11 days helping my sis move from Madison, WI, to Manhattan. One day on a Greyhound bus, one day with the movers, three days driving with a noisy unhappy cat, and six days painting and cleaning her new apartment. It's was really hot and steamy in the city, and her A/C units had been taken out because the building exterior is being rebricked. Quite an adventure! We did take time to see the Broadway play "Shuffle Along" last night. It was fantastic. Such incredible talent.

Beverly, I know all about UFO's.........and making more of them. lol

Theresa, How wonderful to have your sister coming for a visit and that you'll be taking a workshop together! That is just awesome!

Lois, You sure get around.....just like the Energizer Bunny.....always on the go and doing stuff. Not sure I'd appreciate being with A/C though....or those 3 days with an unhappy cat.

I think my goal for July is to figure out what projects I want to work on for the rest of the year. I haven't had much direction so far this year, which I think is why I've been pretty unproductive. Usually I have a plan or at least a list of projects in progress and on deck. :)

I need to finish up a baby quilt for my cousin's grandson who is due soon. It is on the frame now. The shower is the 16th, do I need to get that complete. I also want to go on a cutting spree. I tend to work better if I have everything cut up and sort of in kits so that I can just do a little at a time. I have a lot of red scraps, a friend getting married whose fiance loves red, and I have until November, so I think my cutting spree will include a bunch of red scraps. :) I am still working on putting Allietare together. It has become a leader/ender project, since it will go to my son and daughter in law for Christmas.

YIKES!!! It's the 21st already! I got the ducky together and the borders ready, now to put them on. Made a kitty block and a couple of patchwork scottie dog stuffed animals. It was fun but 2 was enough. :-)

I haven't done much sewing at all this month. I did make a list of all the projects I have started and have plans for (it's pretty long!), and I've been working on my hand quilting project. I've set myself a goal to finish it this month, so we'll see!
