Help me with potato salad recipe

We've found the various farmers' markets in our new neighborhood, and tonight i had some pretty little red potato creamers, golf-ball sized, to roast, cut in half. They were fantastic, and I wonder about using roasted small red potatoes for a potato salad type dish to serve cold. Any idea on how to proceed? These potatoes, (roasted at 450 for 25 minutes, S&P, granulated garlic, italian seasoning, EVOO) were super soft and creamy. Can I cook them a bit less? How to dress? What to add to mkae a cold roasted potato salad?
