leaves turning yellow quickly on cherry trees
Comments (1)lme: You should be concerned indeed. Cherry tree rootstocks are highly susceptible to "wet feet", which can kill a young tree in a matter of days. The roots literally drown. If the trees are potted or rootballed trees, which they must be if they are leafed out, a "sink" may be created where the water concentrates. Bareroot trees are usually better for that and several other reasons. Cherry trees should only be planted where the soil type and topography lend themselves to fairly rapid drainage in conditions of high rainfall. If yours are not thusly planted, it may not be too late to move them to higher ground. Don Yellman, Great Falls, VA...See MorePlum tree drops leaves in August then quickly regrows

It was healthy for a year and all of the sudden this things happened started 2 months ago. Most of the leaves turns yellow and small branches turns to brown. New fruits about 10 mm in size were falling. I watered my tree almost every other day. Applied citrus fertilizer and still not working. How could i keep my tree healthy?
