There could be a multitude of possibilities... Just my 2 cents: I've only had that upward curl (exactly like your photo) when I had an aphid infestation ... Check the bottom of your leaves to see if there is an issue. The bottom curl I have had when my plants get shocked from a combination of light/heat/and drought... When watered better they perked up, but some leaves retained the bent appearance with no ill effects to the plant as a whole.

Hey Linda, I tried to grow a couple of Cyril's Choice plants last year in another garden plot. They didn't seem to grow as vigorously as my other plants, they had more of a bushy habit and were smaller than the others. Maybe they were like this because they are determinate plants. Anyway, I noticed quite a few plants seem to have leaf curl during the day, but don't think they had anything wrong with them. I think my CC plants did have some leaf curl, but otherwise seemed healthy. They didn't produce a lot of fruit in early June, and because of incessant rains later in the month, I lost most of my plants to disease in about a month and a half, including my two CC plants. So, don't know if that helps much, but that is my experience with them. I was curious where you got them, I could not find a lot of places that sold them. I got mine from Ohio Heirloom Seeds and tried them because of their description of the plants.

Hi everyone, I'd be grateful for some help with my cucumber plant. I'm writing from Hong Kong where I have a couple of cucumber plants in a big pot (1 foot by four feet) on the balcony. A few days ago I noticed that the leaves on one plant were curling down about four feet up from the ground (it's growing on a trellis). Those leaves are now turning papery and brown. All of the flowers that the plant had been producing have dried up. A few new sprigs have sprouted and are growing quickly. It looks to me like this plant is dying. It's gone from healthy to rather sick-looking in a couple of days. The other plant, right next to it, is doing fine. I've looked for pests but can't find anything. Does anyone know what this could be? How should I go about treating it?

You have NO MITES. Very healthy plants - looks like they need more light, more humidity and may be more fertilizer. It is still winter... that's why. Waiting for spring...
