My Roguchi clematis is blooming too, but it isn't very happy in the location and gets mildew.

Love the purple and white, murraysmom. Stunning! Wish the darned oxalis wasn't so invasive. I used a different species around a potted tree once. It was "safe" until I decided to plant the tree in the ground. Hundreds of mini-bulbs later, over a period of months, the plant was able to be planted in the ground. Live and learn!

Thanks, Gyr. I didn't know oxalis is invasive. I have mine in a pot. I bring it in over the winter where it dies back to about 4 or 5 leaves, but within a couple of weeks of being back outside in the spring, it's full and lush again!! Our little city planted a bunch of them in a triangle at the end of the street, but I guess they can't really go anywhere else then, right??

Actually, I may have misspoke, murraysmom. I believe some of the purple ones are not invasive. It is just that I have fought with several species of the quick bulb-multiplying oxalis too many times to not be wary. I've become a bit paranoid perhaps.

I checked it out and mine is not one of the invasive species. But I learned it also is only an annual here, so I'm happy mine has survived for at least 5 years, I think!! My invasive problems are lily of the valley and bugloss. I spend hours every spring ripping out lily of the valley. I have a nice patch of it up next to the house that is ok, but out in the back garden it tries to swallow everything in it's path!!
