For folks who have had both touch-less and touch-on kitchen faucets...
Comments (42)None of these scare stories have happened to me. I’ve had mine for almost 2 years. I leave it set on medium hot. If you need to adjust the temp, you can always at least clean your hands first, then move the lever to change temp. I pretty much only need to change it if I want cold water for coffee pot, etc, in which case my hands aren’t dirty! Ours has never turned itself on. I can’t understand why so many people who have never tried one are so negative. If you cook, you get dirty hands and it’s a great feature. It is very simple to use manually if you prefer. It turns itself off automatically after a few minutes, so no risk of it overflowing or something....See MoreKitchen sinks and faucets! What do you like about yours?
Comments (3)Moen Arbor - nice pull down that reverts to stream automatically when you shut it off. I moved into a house with a Moen faucet that did this and wanted one for our second home and was trying to verify which Moen faucets have this. I was mentioning it to my friend who is a CMKBD and she said she recommends the Moen Arbor to many of her clients. I ended up getting one and it's great. I also got the one for the bar/prep sink though the spray function on that one performs differently - only sprays while you hold the button - fine for the small sink....See MoreTouchless or touch-on kitchen faucet

Delta's finish is fine but it's more of a pale/rose gold/bronze not a matte brass look which is what I had hoped for when we ordered it so keep that in mind. @dormelles had no idea they had to be turned on at the handle!? so confused! so what is the point of it being touchless!? the batteries I don't mind so much but having to use the handle seems to defeat the point correct!? I think I'd actually prefer the touch-on ones since those seem more reliable - I just imagine having to wave my chicken-gut covered hands all over the place hoping it turns on the way u do sometimes at public restrooms...See MoreConsidering a touchless kitchen faucet
Comments (5)We have one and we HATE it. It turns off all of the time in the middle of using it. For example if we are washing and rinsing a large pot, if the pot bumps the faucet even the tiniest bit is turns off. It is so sensitive to touch that the slightest thing turns it off. We are constantly having to stop and tap it to turn it back on. We do this dozens of times a day, so it is a real annoyance. I would avoid these like the plague. There is something lovely about turning on a tap and it not shutting off on you a million times....See Moreyosemite1234
