Thank you everyone! Lisa, now that you mention it, it does have a gothic look to it. I think when it blooms it will be stunning! I can't take all the credit for originality though. My inspiration came from GG. She has at least one of her plants in a cage. I like this idea because it allows them to grow without taking up a lot of space. I'm on the hunt for more! I didn't understand everyones comments until I realized you posted a link to photo bucket. You did great, Moni. House looks to be in very good condition unless that was all the elbow grease you were talking about. Hope you have a fun time furnishing it. Try Goodwill, Salvation Army, Habitat Restore any check out flea markets, garage sales, etc. All you need is a good eye and imagination. We have a lot of resale consignment shops here and one could furnish a house beautifully with better made furniture than you can buy today for a lot fewer$$! I wish you the best in your new home.

I wouldn't do anything to it-- it frames the art beautifully. Can you find another room in your house for it that has some coppery elements if you don't like how it looks where it currently is? I think you'll regret if you try to make the frame match the room and it no longer does justice to the art it's intended to compliment.
