9 years agoCelebrated National Trails Day yesterday by taking a hike up to a scenic overlook...the view was great but the hike was steep.

Comments (19)Watusi cattle from Africa at the zoo. The horns are huge. They are the only animals that have blood supply going through the horns. If they injury their horns they can bleed to death. Comments (13)summer, the Winchester Cathedral is beautiful. I have David Austin's Charlotte blooming now. I've had to baby it through three years of uncertainty, this June it is healthier looking than ever it has been. My new project for the secret sunken garden. I want to add a monogram above and to the sides of the lion's head. Still brain storming on how to create concrete letters in a Baroque style. 9 years agolast modified: 9 years agoKittywhiskers, great puzzle.....I have one of seed packets here to do, but it has a lot more color variation in the picture, so I am sure will be easier than yours was.
My lone Peony bush was planted in the mid 1920's according to the lady that we bought this building site from. It was one of many bushes here that my daughter dug up and saved from the construction site. Daughter has the rest in her gardens. Peonies are tough!
