Comments (9)They clear people out pretty fast when there's a rumble of thunder, and can't get back in until at least 45 minutes after the last rumble. My water aerobics group is in the lap pool, on the left side of picture. We're moved during the summer cause of swim teams and swimming lessons. Comments (22)Raven, in all the time we spent in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, I only saw two of those squatters and they were in older, rural areas. Restaurants, hotels, malls and other public areas all had regular western style toilets if they were in towns or cities that have western tourists visit on a regular basis. The airports also had the squatters, but they also had plenty of western toilets as well. I think that was because the airports get so many travelers from places where squatters are the norm and they sometimes don't know what to make of a western style toilet. The malls in Bangkok had signs in the stalls that said the toilets were not for feet washing....See More

I came home to branches from the trees all over the yard, flower pots blown over, and a baby bird out of its nest. I actually walked past it the first time I was cleaning up flower pots. Once I saw it, I went inside and left it alone. I heard it chirping and I sat back to see what would happen.
Typical teenager. It only wanted food! ;)

10 years agoHibiscus is all over the place where I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida. All are in the ground and keeping growing and growing.
This is one of my neighbor's plants.

I have a yellow one as well. But I have it in a pot and bring it in for the winter. I think people around here have them in the ground - zone 6B - but I haven't put mine in the ground. I'm not sure if it would survive the winter.
