Did anyone watch that tv show Outduaghtered on TLC?

I had seen previews and wasn't really that interested. I caught part of one of the shows and watched a couple more...they are such a cute couple. The husband is hilarious...he has a cute sense of humor. I hope they have a better ending that Jon and Kate...

I have watched and wondered why they don't have more help. Even Kate Gosslin had an older woman who helped fold laundry.

I've only watched season 1 of dexter...pretty good. It's odd when I find myself cheering for the serial killer...there's something attractive about characters possessing extraordinary traits and yet exhibiting weaknesses or vulnerabilities. Hence the vampire craze, perhaps. Q - I'm a really bad reader and rarely venture outside of genres I'm used to, which happen to be alternative reality fiction, near-future science fiction, anything involving supernatural things (clearly I have a problem with reality) and other social commentary related works....with that said, I almost ALWAYS enjoy what people have recommended me even though at first I'm always apprehensive over things like autobiographies and historical fiction. I like the direction this thread is heading so I'm going to shamelessly steer it towards that direction. Favorite reads, everyone? Anyone? I was really enjoying Journeyman. It was interesting. The story took place in and around San Francisco so there were a LOT of familiar places for me. I watched House once and couldn't stand that guy. My mother LOVES that show and thinks I should give it another try. There are so many popular shows that I have never watched. 30 Rock, Life With Earl (or whatever it is), The Office, Lost. I'm sure there are more. I don't know why I haven't either. I guess I feel like I watch enough TV, although I don't know when.

I honestly don't mean this to be derogatory or to rain on anyone's parade, but I don't really understand the draw of either of those shows. What is the interest? They are just normal people who happen to be a different size than most. They have struggles and joys and love just like we all have struggles and joys and love. I can't imagine that people are drawn to watch the shows just to see little people, but isn't that the only thing that sets them apart from most of us? That's a genuine question, really. Would the shows be just as interesting if they were regular people of normal size going through everyday life? As far as I can tell in the few times I've watched either one that their size is the only thing that makes them different from you and me. As you can probably tell, I'm not much on so-called "reality shows". But I'd really be interested to hear what it is about these 2 specifically that draws you in.

Actually have been to the movies recently!! Two times in two weeks!! Saw 'Little Women' last week - enjoyed it but it jumped around time-wise a bit and was sometimes challenging to follow. Last night went to see 'Just Mercy' and that was superb!! A true story, it will get you fired up for various reasons. One movie was pure entertainment and the other got you thinking and incensed and involved.

I have not heard of it so I went to check out their blog. The mom has quite a spirit! I read the blog entry about must-have products and the Keurig-type formula maker knocked me out. What a stellar idea, and if you have multiples or a daycare it must be a godsend.

I saw two episodes. Takes special people to be able to handle that many babies at once. It's probably a good idea they're considering moving back to LC. Wonder if the father still has a job. Many losses in the oil & gas industry the past year.

Honestly, I really hope this show works out for them for financial reasons. They seem like such a nice, normal family, but OMG how utterly exhausting. They need help. I am rooting for them!

I cannot even imagine. My DD has 8 month old twins and a two year old and she is wiped out by the end of the day. I go up and help her out on Sundays and it takes me a full day to recuperate.

I'm assuming the last show I saw where they back to home for a visit and talk about moving back was the ending season episode. I hope there's another season to see if they go back home or stay in Texas. And I could not believe how thin she was after having 5 babies!!!
