Comments (10)Thanks for posting! I am amazed at the differences. I have read on this forum many times about changes that can occur from year to year, but the pictures really do tell the tale....See More1st bloom on my 6 year old plumeria seedling
Comments (22)LatinLady, the seedpod that this seedling came from was on a white NOID plumeria. Sometimes I do see 6 petals, but it is rare. The rest of the blooms off of this seedling have all had 5 pedals. Here is the plumeria where I got this seedling from (mother): And here is an updated photo of the seedling. It looks like more orange/yellow is coming out, maybe due to the heat. Also, this pic is in direct sunlight: Here is a pic of Musk Rainbow, that has similar colors in similar areas on the petals (pink/orange/yellow). Maybe this is the father?...See Moremore zone 9 first blooms
Comments (13)A few more are opening. Sorry this needs clicking on to be right size. Wanted to show Abraham Darby's companions. Abraham Darby not being a baby pink. Last spring, ugh. My regular visiting gopher hunter. Colette - soft apricot this spring, Cl. Secret - camera not catching the pink, very frag. Sonia's foliage. I knew she needed a spring spray, but leaf miners? Bad girl. First time I've seen them on rose foliage. Ending with Tournament of Roses, same bloom as the top one, but 4 days later....See MoreTuesday's pics before the storm
Comments (4)Well, I posted a bunch more pictures in the comments and they are gone. So I may have duplicates again Kierabel was new this spring, starting out good Jamaican Love is new, thanks Debra! This bloom is fullsize and looks just like I wanted. Still a short scape, but new plants do that for me MexicAN MAGIC Debra, Rainbow Dragon bloomed, a tiny prolif size fan, so I am not surprised the short scape could not hold up the bloom. I do like the bloom, so I have something to look forward to. I do see what you say about the color Parrots of the Carribbean is one I got just before Maryott sold out. It has stayed at the 3 fans I started with, but it does always bloom nicely. Screen Pattern Time Lord started off with 4 blooms. I was going to get rid of this one, but last year it showed off nicely, and seems to be looking pretty good this year Waiting for peace. I have had this several years. the 1st 4 years it remained a single fan, finally got a 2nd one. Now 3 years later it has 4 this spring, but of course only the 2 mature ones bloomed. I really like the form on this one, lots of substance Smoky Mountain Autumn, love the color on this...See Moreratdogheads z5b NH
