Maybe it's a fortunei albomarginata, which is closely related to Francee. (I'm just guessing). I found that fortunei are stiffer, (or have more substance) than undulata. Undulata are thin and floppy. (how do you like those technical terms?)

I don't know bkay, does F. albo come up later like F. Aureo? It does seem a little flacid (how do you like that technical term? lol)

My F Aureo is still a little behind but F Albo is out full and looks like your last pic.

Quick way to tell the difference between Undulata and Fortunei is to look at the BACK of the leaves: Fortunei types are glaucous, Undulata types are glossy....

Oh really Barb/? The one in my last pic I have never had a name for, it came from my mum's garden and she doesn't know (or care lol) what it is, I kinda assumed it was Undulata Albo. My F. Aureo is still tight little pips as yet.

Just to confuse matters the last pic of F. Albo in the library sure looks like Francee

Ah I'm a bit of a night owl, always have been, a few hours sleep does me well enough.

I have some undulata albomarginata that I divided last year. Five clumps all close enough together that I can see their differences. They are all divisions of the same plant, yet look noticably different. Out of the five clumps two look leggier and the other three form denser clumps-- just like yours.

I checked them today and both have the shiny undersides so both are Undulata Albomarginata, thanks everyone.
