help me...please!
Comments (10)I have the 36" 23.1 cubic ft. CD fridge. There is some loss of space, but it would depend on your needs. There is only two of us for now so we don't really need all the space except for the freezer because we like to store a lot of ice cream. :) If you are concerned about the space, you can upgrade to a bigger size. I know KitchenAid does offer a 36" SXS CD that is around 25 cubic ft. which is taller that the one I have. That would give you a little bit more space. Would a 42" or 48" be a built-in? For me, a built-in would be like having shelves similar to ones in a FD fridge (very usable) but have a more usuable freezer than the FD fridges. I would have done a built-in fridge, but I did not have the space for it. If you have the money or space for a built-in, you may want to look check them out....See MoreSo what comes first, wall paint or trim paint?
Comments (8)I pick all my paint colors at one time. Ceiling, wall and trim. I make sure I look at the paint chips in the room I'm going to use them in in a variety of light. Both natural and man made. I always start by painting the ceiling and then the walls and then the trim. When you use a roller or even a paint brush you learn pretty fast about drips and splatter. It's alot like when you clean . You start at the top and work your way down so any dust or dirt doesn't ruin the work you've already done. Same with painting. Start at the top and work your way down....See MoreEncore tile question
Comments (14)I do think there are several colors that could have worked in my kitchen, but if I could do it over, I would still choose the silver. I think the overall mix of the light silver tiles, the darker silver tiles, the very slightly tinged silvery blue tiles & the rosy taupey tiles warmed up my very white kitchen - white cabinets & white countertop. Even though there are all those different tiles, it doesn't come across as a mix of different colors. They blend together & create an overall look. I think it would look great with your countertops. I'm still very curious about the Cirrus. Edit: I did see a showroom kitchen with white cabinets, Torquay countertops & Encore Celery (which looks like a light blue green). It was beautiful but was definitely a color commitment....See MoreCould use some help! Feedback on 4 floorplans I'm choosing from please
Comments (57)This house just popped up on my Pinterest feed, and it made me think of this thread. It has the same spaces as the four houses in question ...and it's just under 2500 sf. It's a much better layout ... I like the connection between the laundry and the master suite ... the main living areas seem more proportional and comfortable ... it has a nice, big pantry convenient to the garage entrance ... and it'd be very possible to re-do the area near the garage entry so you could have a third similar-sized bedroom + one bath. https://www.architecturaldesigns.com/house-plans/handsome-craftsman-house-plan-69677am...See Morelarsi_gw
