Kraus or Grohe kitchen faucet
Comments (0)We have narrowed faucet selection down to the Kraus KPF-2130 or the Grohe 33755SDO (solid stainless body). While there is a difference in cost, not really an issue here. We have found a offer for a combination Kraus sink, faucet, soap dispenser that is very appealing, but would just like opinions on the quality of the Kraus compared to the Grohe. Also will need a faucet to dipense filtered water at the sink and would like to match, but looking at the cost of Kraus/Grohe compared to very similar faucets on ebay, wondering if anyone has any experience here. Thanks in advance, Rod...See MoreDoes anyone have a Grohe Minta faucet?
Comments (8)So... the retracting hose -- it pulls out easily, stays at the length you pull it out to, then retracts easily as well, and, yes, it clicks back into its original spot. It's not self-winding like the cord on the Dyson, you have to use your own arm power to do it, but it cooperates and goes back when it's guided to do so. I've never had a retracting faucet head before, and really like it, it would really bother me if I could not get it back to it's original "clicked in" position and I had to look at it with it's hose peeking/hanging out -- but it doen't have that issue at all, I had feared it would based on the rows and rows of askew pull-out faucets in the kitchen faucet show rooms, but someone on here explained to me that the faucets are weighted when installed, and that makes the difference and is the reason why show room faucets do not "click back" -- they were right, evidently. I pull down the hose nearly every time I use the sink, and it still clicks back easily....See MoreGROHE BLUE CHILLED & SPARKLING
Comments (4)^^^ please do. I think our water will end up being more room temperature than I like and the fridge does NOT have ice / water through the door. I am seriously intrigued with this if it works - as I could see myself using it as I much prefer the Brita filtered water over our city water. I've also been told that the dogs prefer more chill in their water, so this could be the ultimate indulgence. NO SPARKLING for them - there's where I draw the line....See MoreQuestion about filtered water/faucet/filter at prep sink
Comments (5)Normally I'm an advocate for a "big Blue" housing and a cartridge filter - but I was alerted to the Everpure EF-6000 which is a very good choice for your application. See this discussion on a Full flow filter. The replacement filters are $60 and should last a year....See Morebruce2782
