When I was a child Dad bought me three rabbits, a buck and two does. We put them in the chicken coop. In a year we had 119 bunnies, and that didn't count the ones we ate, we gave away, etc. I never did manage to sell one, no one here wants a bunny. You literally cannot give them away, then or now. Dad finally opened that door and let them go. When the boys go rabbit hunting at the farm they still get white bunnies, black bunnies, golden bunnies with white feet. They apparently adjusted quite nicely to the habitat because that was at least 40 years ago and their offspring still are everywhere in Norwich Township in spite of the flourishing fox population. And now I have a family of them in the backyard eating my plants. Of course, my theory has always been that if I feed them, I get to eat them, but there's some rule or another about shooting a gun within the city limits. funny, though, if I try to uy dressed rabbit to eat, it's about $5 a pound. We raised them to eat for a while but eventually no one had the stomach to kill them so we quit. I will tell you that you should not put rabbit in a crockpot unless youw atch it carefully. It'll fall apart and then you spent a lot of time picking out all those tiny little bones..... Annie

Love finding deals for my remodel! Use Ebay alot to buy lighting (Murray Feiss) and plumbing fixtures (Pegasus) and even bought my Jacuzzi Whirlpool bath via ebay $300!! A friend of mine picked it up for me in Richmond, Va because he traveled that way alot to visit family. Lowe's is my next favorite place for deals. When they have markdowns. I bought 2 French Doors for $150/ea. - 2 Pella storm doors (NIB) for $10/ea. and 3 polyvinyl designer screen doors for $5/ea.!! Bought all stainless steel appliances there as well on deep deep discount as well. My best adventure is buying all my kitchen, bath and laundryroom cabinetry from the Kraftmaid warehouse in Lordstown. Spending $60-$95 on most base, upper and vanities. My huge double door pantry with pullouts -$135!! ;^) . Cabinets are hickory and cherry. (you can find out more about Kraftmaid warehouse by searching these forums). The savings of these finds and doing the remodel ourselves makes it easier to justify some up the upgrades we have made like adding a wet/dry central vac system. Finding these bargains has been the fun part of a long remodeling project. Happy hunting fellow bargain hunters!

I can't say I have had the same situation exactly. I have 2 step sons(11 and 13) and then I have a 10 month old son. While the 11 and especially the 13 greatly annoy me at times(in fact I just posted on this), I would never even consider compromising their well being for the little one! I do admit that the relationship with the 2 step sons is definitely not the same as the relationship I have with my biological son. I didn't have the 2 older boys as babies and never got to hold and cuddle them like I do my own. But for your husband to treat them as if they are now in the way or in anyway cramping his style is really just wrong anyway you look at it. Something I try to be mindful of and you might bring up to your husband is the relationship between your older 2 boys and the little one. If he has a strained and difficult relationship with your older boys, how is that going to affect how they feel about their little sister? If your husband has changed the way he treats the boys because of the new baby he could be causing more issues than just a strain in his relationship with them. Does he really want to cause the older boys to resent her because he treated her better than he treats them? I am having issues with my oldest just getting on my nerves, but I take the responsibility for trying to fix the situation. I don't see how the solution could ever be to get the older 2 out of the house!!!Hope I didn't ramble on too much!!! Good luck with your situation.
