Heeey, Jasdip!

Tonight I made the Sara Moulton recipe, which I have renamed "Stupid Easy Bread That I Can Make Fast." I used a bottle of Guinness Stout and put cheddar on one side of the baking dish.

There were only three of us tonight, but I think we did a good job! The bread was a side dish, but it really was popular! I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to look, but it tasted just fine!

LOL Sooz!!!! That's it!! You nailed it. Isn't it good?? It's nice and savoury and we love it with chili, and other such food. Yours is a little darker, probably because of the stout.

You did it, you made me want to make it again, and I'm going to.

This is a picture of a piece that I posted in the previous cooking thread.

This kind of quick bread or bun recipe is what I miss most about baking with regular flour.... in both time and texture, it just doesn't work the same with wheat-free or gluten-free baking. :p

Great photo, Jasdip...and yes, I'm sure the dark color in mine came from the Guinness! It is SOOOOO yummy!!

Good to know, Party, about wheat-free or gluten-free baking. Do you have something you like in the bread area that is wheat and gluten free?

    Sooz
