North facing wall that doesn't get any morning sunlight

I have a small area (about 6 ft x 5 ft) in my back yard that is a north facing wall. It doesn't get any morning exposure due to a grilling station to the side and the afternoon exposure is somewhat short due to a 6 ft fence. I would say it only gets 2 hours of sun max. I had a slam dunk rhododendron that didn't do well even though it was receiving morning sun until about a month ago when we added the grilling station. Either way - I found him a new home but I would like to plant a shrub there. Any suggestions for this area and my zone? I know a flowering shrub is probably out of the question but any suggestions for any shrub that will survive there are appreciated.
