Pale pips of London Fog. The changes in colour on this misted hosta make it an interesting addition to my collection - a one-of-a-kind.

Zebra Stripes - very bright and pretty pips!

Blue Hawaii (Olga) showing some nice-sized pips. Bought this one bare rooted in March of 2014-1 shoot emerged. Look at it now! :)

Interestingly, this Fire Island in pot emerged much later than the one planted in the ground. Looks like it is still emerging. Nice increase also.

Doesn't look like it but there are 30 pips there - don't know what is going on with those two shoots, lol.

I have great anticipation of this one - I am convinced it's beauty is going to surprise some - found a gorgeous photo online of a mature one. If you like quiet refinement in a soft blue hosta with pretty leaves, plus a little ripple, watch this one in the coming months.

One of my Krossa Regal - pips are so dark emerging it's difficult to see them until they stretch a bit.

Enjoy your day, go out and get dirty - it's a perfect day for it!

Jan, OH MY GOSH and JUMPIN' JEHOSEPHATS! Will you adopt me? Seriously, those pictures are just awesome, those you posted here as well as on photobucket. The one of LARRY GRACE and the red verbena is a beautiful picture. It could be framed and hung. So many I like, so many I neeeeeeed, especially LET IT RIP. I really like that CLEAN HEART also. We brought home 4 of his new introductions--Call off the Search, Sunshine on My Shoulders, First Addiction and Overnight Flight. We also got Ashwood Rings of Saturn. My daughter, who lives with us, bought Sportin' Life (she likes purple tones). Unfortunately, it started to rain shortly after we arrived so we didn't get any pictures. A trip to Ashwood Gardens is always a highlight of our summer. Richard and Jan are so gracious. Richard walked through the seedling beds with us and talked about his hybridizing. We have learned so much from him. He is one of our favorite hybridizers even though he doesn't breed for teeth (which is our passion). His focus on bud count, rebloom, and health make his cultivars some of the best in our garden.

Well, this is luck. I was just thinking about Green Mystique yesterday except for the life of me I could not remember the name. I grew it for years and always found it beautiful. It wasn't white for me. More on the pale yellow side, but the form was always excellent and it was a solid grower............That's a really good picture of Get Jiggy. Nice pattern....I just gifted out my last Linda Beck last year. It was such a beautiful color until about mid afternoon. I kept her for years but had to finally cut her due to downsizing......Motown Blues has a pretty color. Nice and cool looking for a hot summer day........Maryl

At this rate, you'll soon be ready to join in on a thread entitled "Second Season Stars" - I coined your phrase! I'll give it a few more days yet before launching it. Also, I want to give those in the UK and Ireland a chance to cast the spotlight on some of the "talent" emerging on their stages!

BC - you sure know how to build anticipation! YES! Some of us slower pokes are slow coming out of the gates, but when we finally do, it's a party! LOL

Mine have all just been released from confinement after spending nearly a week under fleece frost protection. Some picture taking was scheduled for today as we have had a few nice warm days this week. Mother nature decided to intervene and it is raining as I type. If it stops I will get out and get a few "raindrop pics"

Dave... no digs! Just the spirit of inclusiveness and a desire for you to be able to join in the party with some of your fabulous recent purchases. I sometimes check the UK's weather to see what's happening in the "ol country" - you guys are having a bit of a rough time. Hopefully, that will be rectified soon!
