Did I plant these new hydrangea correctly?

So I got two new little hydrangea bushes. About them

-small type only 2-3 feet high and wide

- constant bloom type

Dug a hole as deep as they container and three times as wide. Put bumper crop and 1 tablespoon of a organic soil acidifier specifically made for hydrangea also at bottom. I forgot to bang their roots to loosen up but I'm hoping they got knocked around a bit on their root system while i planted them. Planted them 2-3 feet apart.

Covered with a little more bumper crop and dirt. It had rained the day before and rained a HUGE thunderstorm just after I planted them. Rained today and will next three days so they hopefully won't get too soggy.

Did I plant them right? This is my first time.
