Transplanted Rainforest Sunrise last night. Does this sound OK?

I don't know why I originally planted my Rainforest Sunrise where I did, too close to my Midas Gold heuchie. So I corrected that problem last night, while I was on a roll planting my new bunch of annuals. I moved it about a foot toward the east. I dug a hole and tried hard to plant it with the crown even with the ground. I tamped the soil firmly around it and today's deluge of rain should help to firm the soil around its roots. If I didn't match the crown to the soil level to a fair-thee-well, will that kill the deal?
