Comments (16)First thing in the morning 10:00 cash register opens at 10:30, don't know if we are going to restock Sunday morning. We restocked at least 5 times today. It was very brisk all day long. I am so confused what we have left. Still have some nice stock of San. hallii 'BaseBall Bat' 5 of them them a pot for $30 not bad when each has been sold for $10 each I know we have a few scatterd Crassula, some Gasteria and Haworthia, a few Aloe, all sizes, some gave all sizes, Blue Agave attunata, others, lots of bulbs, miniature trees from Madagascar, cactus, a few Schick hybrids. All sorts of various species, which I know nothing, many mesemb. Comments (1)I had a question on email about what kind and size of plants to bring (but was unable to get a return email through.) Basically, any size and type of plants are welcome, as long as they are healthy plants you would want in your garden. Last year we had small and large plants, common and exotic plants. Most people put them in used nursery pots -- any size -- but a few were in plastic bags. Labelling the plants is helpful. Don't worry if you've never been to a swap before -- we're real informal, and you'll meet some great people....See MoreThe Huntington C&S Show & Sale

The trifasciatas however, can stay outside, they are on porches, in the ground, businesses - I just never noticed them before. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the pinguicula (last thing I bought, 3rd round looking), I've not seen multiples like that. Four plants (and a fifth starting) in one. Some vendors have them priced rather high, this one was not, hence, I grabbed it. As it was pointed out to me, had I not seen it, I wouldn't know what I had missed, but having seen it, if I hadn't bought it I would have regretted it later. Yep, been there, done that. But not that day....See More- 8 years ago
