I was looking for a picture for today and found these pictures of the public library in Seattle that fit yesterday's theme.

My Chickie Girls are getting too creative! I know to check the free standing hay feeder but this is what I found today. So far there have been no broken eggs even though the horses have access to everything. You have to give them credit; they put the hay in there and made their own nest. There's a wall feeder right next to this bucket so they didn't have to go far for the hay. I know to check the wall feeders for eggs and now I have to check the buckets! If I would have wanted her to use this as a nest you can bet she wouldn't have. I don't know how many girls are using this bucket. This is probably 2 days worth. It's been cool enough here that I will use these eggs myself. In fact, ate one already.

Nicole, it looks like it's wearing a sweater. LOL Marcia, I had a yellow rose bush that bloomed yellow for a few years and then one day turned red. Weird! Bob, the red-wing blackbird is my favorite bird. Thanks for that picture! Nice pics today, everybody!!

No snow here today, at least not yet. I would like it to at least warm up some!! Is that too much to ask?? Well the quality of my picture is seriously lacking, but it was 11pm, I was using my iPhone and the only light came from the lamp on the far side of the room. Rocket and Fred were waiting on me so we could go to bed.
