Google Books and their access to gardening books

One of the joys of my life has been using the part of Google Books that searches for names of specific roses and places them in context when they were first introduced.

Also, most early rose books didn't have indexes and the Google Book search function serves as an index for any book that they have scanned.

There is also the availability to copy entire books that your local library never had, never heard of, or decided were too old to be worth holding on to.

Anyway, perhaps now the reference feature can provide more than two lines of text for some of the more recent books.
