I watch the show sometimes but turn the channel when the bragging starts.

I just watched it also and her face is rather stiff. Something just doesn't look right. I think genes have a lot to do with how we look and age.

Good grief - look at her bad breast augmentation and her botched lips - she has definitely had plastic surgery, and you can count on her having botox - she has gone way overboard, imho. She reminds me of Pricilla Presley's bad cosmetic surgery.

I was surprised though that several times when Dr. Phil had someone on his show that was concerned about wrinkles on their face he had a BOOTS NO.7 expert giving advice and suggesting what BOOTS products they should use.

I hate when they obviously have had plastic surgery or botox but are trying to sell beauty products promising you will look as wrinkle free as they do!!!

Robin's face has looked altered to me. I'm thinking chin and cheek implants, lip enhancement, and more.

But good genes can be very powerful; I'm 64 and don't have wrinkles. I (and two of my brothers) take after our mother and everybody I ever saw on her side of the family, no matter how old.

In Priscilla Presley's defense.... She had attended, as have many Beverly Hills women, a "Botox party" where a doctor comes and gives Botox injections to those who want them. Being done in someone's home gives the attendees a teensy bit of privacy, as the paparazzi are not around to snap pics of the women going into or coming out of a plastic surgeon's office.

The problem was that the "doctor" wasn't a licensed MD (he was licensed as a nurse), and he did not use pharmaceutical grade Botox. He used industrial grade silicone. The "doctor" has since been arrested.

Yes, Robin's had a lot done and wears a ton of makeup. To me, something is really wrong with her mouth....it skews to one side when she talks. I agree the "hawking" of McGraw products is getting to be OTT.

Good grief...so what if she has had work done or her looks are due to genes plus the use of her cosmetics? It really doesn't matter in this day and age.

TulsaRose- I agree there's nothing wrong, nor shame, in getting work done. What I have a problem with is transparency. It is disingenuous at best, to sell beauty products with the implicit promise that they will make you look like Robin, at her age, when she is not also forthcoming with the details of her beauty regimen.

I do not mean to foment gossip. Rather, I think it's akin to selling snake oil when you have the money and resources to avail yourself of the best plastic surgeons, dermatologists, make up artists, lighting, injectables, skin care regimens, nutrition and personal fitness, among other things, and then proffer 'hope in a jar' for profit.

I admired Joan Rivers so much. I thought she was a tough lady, a brilliant comedian and plastic surgery maverick. I'd sooner buy 'hope in a jar' from her, than someone who is not forthcoming about how it is exactly that they look the way they do.

I think she is a lovely woman, plastic surgery or not. I wish I was petite and cute like she is. I have often wondered about the bashing of Dr. Phil on the kitchen table. I watch the show off and on, and I think he has done some really good work for some really messed up people. He rarely talks about his sons and their businesses, although a few years ago I think he talked and hawked a little more. Who cares, don't we all brag about our wonderful kids?

I watch Dr Phil daily, one of my guilty pleasures. Yes, she is a pretty women but why not leave well enough alone. No one needs all this plastic.

Just saying it could be normal aging. I've seen others achieve a no "enhancement" look. I don' t believe it's something you can buy in a jar and I think it's rare.

No doubt, Robin seems like a lovely woman, and as I wrote above, she obviously takes care of her cute, petite self.

But, I've always been glad I have my taller than "normal" height for a woman ;-)

I watch the show on occasion. Robin's excessive do overs do not bother me near as much as that awful voice of her. I realize she can't do much to alter her voice, but it's like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Goodness. Too bad we are not all perfect! I am not. Far from it.

I think she's a very sweet lady. They seem like they are crazy about each other! If I had a huge bank account, I'm sure I'd get some things taken care of! ;) I would not ever consider any sort of implants though, but maybe a nip and tuck!

To me it's obvious she has had work done, but whatever makes her happy and feel good about herself is all that matters. Her make up artists are also a part of the equation. I always find it fascinating to see before and after photos of celebrities when they've had their make up applied. Often times it's like looking at two different people.

I could care less about the things they do to their own bodies, what really bothers me about Phil, his family and most importantly his show is that it exploits people who are obviously suffering or have problems.. Someone has to be pretty desparate for help or attention to go on his show, he's no better than Jerry Springer; actually he's worse because as a medical professional or former professional he knows what he's doing to those people is wrong. All for the sake of the mighty dollar.

I think Dr. Phil probably has a lot to do with Robin's plastic surgery. Years ago I heard her say he only agreed to having a second a baby when she promised him she would lose the baby weight. I also read or saw an interview with his first wife where she said he was very controlling.....wouldn't let her work, told her what to wear, how to do her hair, etc.. I'm not positive, but I think Robin had a very good job and also stopped working when they married.
