What happens with this forum is if you post a new message and leave it alone, it will remain at the top of the forum for several days while people decide whether they want to reply. What you did was immediately post more pictures. That released your message to drift down through the milieu of new posts right away. Your post today bumped it back to the top. You overseeded with bermuda on June 1 and less than a month later you are concerned about it not filling in. Is that correct? I would say, come back in a month and see if you have the same questions. How are you watering now? How often and for how long? It is time to fertilize with organic fertilizer. I would suggest using Milorganite as the bag rate. Milorganite is an organic that will not hurt your grass and will improve your soil. Typically centipede grasses thrive in the poorest of soils, so the Milorganite will be a good first step in reviving it. In August you can probably start in with the Bermuda Bible recommendations on fertilizer. With that soil you might want to alternate monthly feedings between organic and chemical for a year. All this fertilizer and water will kill off any vestiges of centipede you might have still hanging on.

Skoot, Ok i will wait till my grass comes out of dormancy, but can you please tell me why i have to wait? becuase i thought if we spray seaweed or molasses now it should start preparing the soil for the growing season. May be i am confused. can you please explain? Also a newbie question. Is seaweed better or molasses, whats the difference can i use both at the same time or should i wait for few days before i use the other? Sorry for asking so many questions. Hi Karyn, I donÂt have a definite answer for you, but I will be curious what experienced people have to say now that I no longer live in a tropical zone. My plants are indoors and just barely starting to show signs of breaking dormancy. I plan to gradually increase the amount of misting I do both to keep spider mite under control and to slowly bring the plumeria and my desert rose out of dormancy. This worked last year with the desert rose, so I hope it will work with plumeria. I have had this desert rose for two years; it is the first one I havenÂt killed during dormancy. This is only a guess on my part, but I would probably move them so they get more light and mist them once or twice per week for now. I would hold off on fertilizing. When I lived in Orange County and kept my plumeria outside, they would start coming out of dormancy in late January or early February and grow very slowly until nighttime temps stayed consistently above 50. It seemed as if they were not quite committed yet to putting out leaves and flowers, so I only gave them small amounts of water. Once they took off, I would begin fertilizing them and watering them normally.

I was having problems with tiny screws that turned but wouldn't come out the whole way on the bottom of a laptop. Started researching it online some and most who had success with this said if you could get something underneath the screw you could gently pry it upward while turning, my problem was similar to this but not such a deep hole, so I used thread and floral wire to get underneath the screws...the one that was really tricky I used the thread. It was a little more time consuming to get the thread the entire way around the screw and it came off the first time so I decided to tie the thread around it the next time around. Then I did just gently pull it out while using the screwdriver a little more. I know this post was years ago but i was linked to it today so Hope this helps anyone else who has this kind of a problem. (on the other side of the plastic there were strange little washers that kept me from gaining access, I think they are there in order to keep the screws attached to the plastic so they don't get lost?)
