Pre Emergent for Bermuda (Sandburs)

Located in NW Oklahoma. Pretty sure I have common Bermuda, lawn has never been sodded or seeded just what grows naturally. We have major issues with Sandburs and I want to kill them all!!! This year I applied Pendimethalin at the max application rate 1.6 oz per 1,000 sqft. The label says to follow up with a second application 5-8 weeks later (late April-mid May would put me in that window). I have been reading everything I can on this forum and everyone says that Pendi doesn't last very long. Should I buy some Dimension and spray it for the second application for longer protection or continue using what I have on hand. Maybe spray lighter applications throughout the season? Seems the Sandburs come out mid summer till Bermuda goes dormant. I also have some MSMA to hose them down with if I see any growing. Any and all help would be appreciated.
