SJN.you are zone 10..just let me say this...I HATE you..LOL That being said, and out of the way..... Great idea. You probably couldn't do all of the holes, just the big ones, the little ones you would probably have to cover over before putting the concrete on. I think it would be beautiful. I tell you what, I'll come spend the winter with you and we can make one everyday.. I had just cleaned up my big sand pile, or I would have took a pic of it. I just dump the sand back in my bucket and keep it till the next year. I keep my pile ready all summer. I have down to a science. I can make one in 10 min. or less. Where are you in zone 10 ? Edna

Thanks Jodi. I should be good. I have a new fancy bathroom scale that does very light weights (my new kitty weighs 4.8 lbs). I plan to put as much of the heavy items in my backpack carry-on. I'll only be gone for 8 days, I don't need to bring TOO much. Ha ha. Easier said than done....

It's nothing like the chicken and the egg, since wheels and doors are not related. I say wheels because I have more wheels than doors. As for the chicken and the egg, there is not a single chicken that did not hatch from an egg, and reptiles (or non-chickens) had eggs long before there were birds. When the first chicken that mutated from a reptile was born, it hatched from an egg.

I bought a Delsey in Germany about nine years ago that was the same size and shape as the ones you pictured, just not as cute. It fell apart, literally, after two trips. I would not buy that brand again. I’ve had very good luck with a french brand called Lipault. They come in a beautiful range of colors and are lightweight and hold an astonishing volume and are well priced but they aren’t sophisticated or stylish. Came back to actually read the thread. i also have Victorinox luggage in kelly green, but mind is about twelve years old and is too heavy now compared to newer purchases. See there is another Lipault fan here. Although it is softsided it has never gotten wet. on a flight. Finally Finally, had to laugh at the ”man luggage” comment. DH buys cheap luggage that falls apart but that does not deter him!
