Happy b-day mom! I always believe that although the people you love may not be physically with you, they will live through you and the people who love them. What better to celebrate and remember a love one than with roses.

I'm certain all who have lost a parent or child are with you in thought. I lost my mom 53 years ago and seldom is she far from my heart.

I am sure your mum would have enjoyed your roses very much. Hopefully she is smiling at you from afar.

Thank you so much, all the memories are sweet, and I do miss her, she was tired though and ready to see my dad who passed away in 2004. Also my brother who was killed in 1966 in Vietnam.

Of course I think of her every day, but her passing is especially on my mind this time of year, because of her birthday, and my dad's birthday was on March 27th, also their wedding anniversary was on the same day.

I do sympathize with anyone who has lost a parent. I am thankful that both of mine enjoyed a relatively long life.

Thank you for all the beautiful pink roses! I have to say, modestgodess, Summer Romance is so fitting, sweet romance novels were her favorite thing to read, and she read them up until about a year before she passed away.

I am sorry for your loss, Sara-Ann. My Mother passed away 11 years ago and I still think of her almost every day. May memories of your mother give you comfort.
