I for 1 am so ready...It's been a bad day (dentist $$$) and I really need something to look forward to.....

So, who's going to get the boot tonight???

IMO, the producers should have been treating those people for infections long before this event.

I thought I saw a hint that tonight's show will be another example of the hard conditions, maybe more medical situations? At any rate, I'm ready!

Madame Caroline Testout (very old HT). It survived in a neighbor's back yard even though: It was completely overgrown and smothered inside of a blackberry thicket. It was growing in almost complete shade, under several trees as well as the blackberry bush. The house was empty for 7 years, so I know it never got any water other than rain, or any other care. Nonetheless, it grew and bloomed - it climbed up one of the trees, and when it bloomed I could see the amazingly huge pink blossoms from my kitchen window, two doors down the street. When a rose loving lady bought the house, I told her about it - she did not even know it was there! When I showed it to her, she was astonished to see the huge blooms peeking out of the blackberry thicket. We dug out the blackberries, and the two (!) MCT rose bushes did not have any disease. I rooted cuttings, and now it is thriving in my garden, and also two other places in her garden. Jackie

I think Sierra went out on a high note, her little speech last night at tribal council was coherent and strong and rational, something you sure couldn't say about Coach's- that man is a lunatic! He and Debbie are perfect for each other, they're both lying snakes. "I'm a professional! I won't be lectured to by a 23 year old! I don't remember what we said yesterday." Geesh, what kind of example is SHE setting for those children at her school? That lying is A-OK if it's for a million bucks. Sierra busted Coach wide open, he thinks she's delusional and has herself convinced that what she thinks is the truth, is the truth? HE is the one doing that. That nutbucket has so many lies going on in his head on a daily basis, he's living in a dream world! I just want to pinch JT's head off, for not voting for Debbie. And Erinn's, too. Man. When you have an opportunity to get rid of someone, you should take it! They could have gotten Sierra anytime at all. Debbie, on the other hand, as they keep saying, is in it to win it, she's strategizing and it might end up biting them all in the butt now. And of all times to win your first anything, it had to be last night for Coach? I wanted to choke when he was going on about meditation and martial arts(super-secret stuff, don't bother to google it!) and prayer helping him out... don't forget LYING!!!!! When Coach walked past Brendan to cast his vote, Brendan was just cracking up. That was worth seeing.

Ace has a phoney-baloney accent! Besides, he's just plain creepy, Flamey! Ever see the looks he gives people? Gotta love that CBS edit'ing, eh? LOL! DH and I have watched Survivor each and every season. It is one of our favorite shows and Thursday evening has become 'date night' for us. Tonight's menu is tossed green salad, rotini pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe, garlic bread, and cherry pie. (DH's favorite dessert). Enjoy! Dee

If you are actually referring to 7 gpm makeup flowing into your well, that is decidedly NOT slow water production. There are many wells operating successfully across the US with 0.25 gpm makeup. If your well is so shallow that is has essentially no water capacity, however, that would be a problem. You have several major issues to deal with: Sediment. Unfortunately, continual high sediment indicates a problem with the well - too shallow, insufficient capacity, poor location, etc. It can be dealt with, but I would still be talking to a well driller about options. Generally sediment filtration should be the first step in water treatment. Iron. At present we don't know if your iron is ferric (particulate) or ferrous (dissolved). If it is ferric, it can be removed by sediment filtration. If ferrous, another method will be required. Hardness. At about 10 gpg (grains per gallon) your hardness is certainly high enough to cause buildup in your water heater and in your shower heads, particularly in combination with the sediment in your water. Few people in the home, combined with high-flow fixtures. This makes equipment sizing more complicated. When you have iron in your water, it is very difficult to eliminate IRB once they have established themselves in a well. If you have chlorine residual and tests still indicate IRB it could be cross-contamination during sampling or inadequate chlorination of the well. Even if you do eliminate the IRB, you will still see staining from the residual iron in your water - it takes very little to cause visible rusty stains on fixtures. There are lots of options for iron removal - I'll provide a brief list in a separate post. You really ought to get a local pro on site. With your water conditions, the ability to turn over water treatment to an on-site expert will be very helpful. Have you spoken to your neighbors about their water? Do they have the same issues? They may be able to suggest a good local pro.

His infection didn't really look any worse than hers. Why not start him on antibiotics. I would have refused to leave the game, if you can do so. He also should have given up the idol. I felt sorry for him until he didn't do that.

Taking the idol with him....so not game worthy! But.... so glad he won't have knee problems from that wound. Such a harsh environment.

I think I'd last about three minutes there. I had a tiny twig in my garden puncture my leg , and it got infected. It cleared in a day or two and then I found a tick engorged in my neck. This living in a town in PA. ...lol Just imagine what they got living weeks in that hostile environment. He should not have taken the idol with him.

Ah, but they were! If you read Dalton Ross's Q&A with Jeff Probst, you'll see that medical has been assessing each contestant daily. And when the boat with Jeff and the doctor arrived at the camp, it had already been determined that Neal would be pulled from the game.
