Yes. I have had that leaking problem with the same model you have. To me it seemed the soap was coming out of the base instead of the spout (and yes, under the counter as well). I think I had 2 like this. I received my latest soap dispenser in 2007 from Grohe. I noticed a slight difference between the older models I had and this newer one - they had changed something and this new one worked with no problem. Just so you know, when I had the leaking problem I tried watering down the soap and that didn't work. I did find that plain, regular Dawn seemed to work better than any fancier Dawn or Palmolive. I do think they made some adjustment to the dispenser but since you received a recent version, I would think you wouldn't have that problem assuming of course that Grohe had made changes to the design. Around November mine started dispensing sparingly. I took it out, cleaned everything with hot water (have Never MT too), primed the pump and that was all good. I put it all back together, then nothing. It doesn't pump at all and I can see that the soap has gone up to the dispenser. I don't have the patience to deal with it now and have placed a pump bottle of soap on the counter instead. I keep thinking a cheaper one would have been better and I may yet resort to that. Since 2004 I've had 4 of these dispensers. Yes, Grohe will replace them but they shouldn't have such problems. Thankfully the Grohe faucet has worked.

I have the Simple human dish soap dispensers. I use them for dish soap and hand soap. They work perfectly well. There are two styles and I have both styles. Good luck!

Can anyone recommend a dispenser with a LONG spout? The one we have now (Price Pfister) has an utterly useless 2" spout. I have found a 3 7/8" spout, also 3 1/2", but am wondering if there are any that are longer. The new sink is 10" deep. We weren't going to get a new soap dispenser, but after reading this thread, I thought, "I don't want ugly bottles on my new granite!" I could do a rack mounted on the sink cabinet door, but I think the dispenser is neater :-) It just needs a long spout so it can actually squirt dish soap into the pots, instead of dribbling down the side of the sink. Will definitely get a NeverMT--so glad that I heard of it here!

jshore, i just finished our kitchen and have the grohe bridgeford pull down faucet and i LOVE it!! i have it in polished chrome and did buy the matching grohe soap dispenser (polished chrome) and i think they look beautiful together. got them at irawoods, the dispenser was 65.00, free shipping and no tax. yes you can find polished chrome elsewhere, just make sure it is what you want and the finish is good so it won't rub off. good luck!!
