I have found on some models for some reason they want you to replace the black cartridge also, have you tried removing and replacing the current black cartridge along with the new color one? you may try that and even adding a new black one to see if that is what it takes. and to clarify is it printing at all? does the black print? what happens when you do try to print?

It was my rollers.....cleaned them and it is working fine!

Maybe it's a problem with the website that keeps you from printing it. Or you may need to install new printer drivers (available at hp.com). I just use the "Snipping Tool" to highlight what I want. That way, I can save the selection to my computer or paste it in Word to print it. The Snipping Tool on Vista is great, but if you have XP, you can download a free snipping tool. I only discovered this wonderful tool recently, and I think it's one of the coolest features yet!

Since "Restore" didn't work, you maybe will need to do a "Recovery". Does this PC have a recovery sector on the hard drive? Doing a recovery will wipe off all files on your hard drive (data files and programs alike) and will reset your PC to how it was when it left the factory. Be sure to make copies of any data or media files you want to keep beforehand. No matter what, I recommend going forward that you replace Microsoft Security Essentials with a better-rated protection program. There are many to choose from, some free and others moderately priced.
