Comments (65)I sliced my foot open a while back and I found using just plain old vegetable oil and then using a gallon zip bag. You have to first understand that your feet have NO oiling mechanism like the rest of your body.......they simply depend on sweat to moisturize. The worst thing you can do is go barefoot and take super hot showers!! I learned quite a bit about feet as we have had so many family members with diabetes and foot issues that coincide. Now I soak my feet in lemon juice and water for half an hour-warm water, then apply a coat of Flexitol Foot Balm, and I use the zip bags because you can zip it but it isn't strangling the leg and blood supply but it's enough to create plenty of moisture. This method has worked very well for me....See MoreBest thing for Dog hair in between regular cleaning
Comments (13)Eureka Quick-up from Target - it was $30 and worth every penny. It's a cordless/bagless stick-vac - you just empty it in your trash. We have a yellow lab (really white). It's the best way to keep up with the dog hair problem in between deep cleanings especially on floors. Occasionally I clean the filter with a dry toothbrush just to get the dog hair completely off the filter. Works so well. You just charge it and you can use it several times in between chargings. Has a 'floor' and a 'carpet' button. I even use it on my couches sometimes -using the 'carpet' mode which rotates a brush to get the hair off. I've had mine for a few years and am still very happy with it. Here's a link if you want to check it out. It received 4 1/2 out of 5 stars from Target buyers... Comments (32)I've been coloring my hair since my late twenties when I started to go gray all at once. I also attributed it to my oldest child! I go every three weeks; foils /lowlights every other time, root color in between, and a haircut every time. Occasionally there are small changes for the seasons--- a bit darker and longer in the autumn and winter, brighter and shorter in the spring and summer. I wear a chin length pageboy/bob, all one length, parted on the side, tucked behind my ears. This style looks good on others in a beautiful silvery gray, but like someone else mentioned, I can't go and live in a yurt for a year while my hair grows out from a massive short cut. It's expensive having this done every three weeks, but at least my hairdresser loves me :-( In addition to the chemical reaction/ hair problem, the OP has a problem with the hairdresser following her directions. If you keep telling them not to "texturize" your hair and they persist in doing it, you should switch salons. They are supposed to do what YOU want....See MorePulled (my hair out) Pork
