Blooming the past couple of days........
Comments (8)I love your blooms. Minstrels fire was new for me last spring and the bloom looked pretty much like yours. It got better though as will yours. I do have a scape on her. I really like the Munsons you have. Nice colors and ohh the watermarkings on WH. Looks a lot like Cherry Chapeau. I have and love that one....Ellie...See MorePast couple of days - blooms
Comments (12)I really like Greta Grapette and Moth to a Flame! My Ballerina on Ice did well in the country before the big move, but it has sulked now for a couple of years. It has now decided it likes where it stays and has started blooming better. Some just don't like to be moved! I'm sorry to hear you didn't get what you purchased. I have two like yours now growing in our garden that definitely turned out to be the wrong cultivar after waiting until the next season's blooms to find it out. One is quite nice and the other has to go to make room for better things. I wish I had kept better records of which vendor they came from. Nancy...See MoreRose's from the past couple of days
Comments (9)Mrs F W Sanford is PACKED full of fragrance. I bought this rose because I hadn't heard of anyone that was growing it and I wanted to see what it was all about. I knew that first summer it was a keeper. It has gotten bigger and fuller every year. What do I think of The Green Rose? It is a great conversation rose in the garden. Something different. Thank God it makes a good bush. Also when I do a rose show I always bring a spray with me to enter in the OGR class. Same reason. To introduce people to something different in the "rose world". It also makes a great filler in a bouquet....See MoreSome New Ones From the Past Couple of Days
Comments (17)kay,I am so sorry for you loss of your little dog.its very hard to loose a devoted petI lost a cat about 2 yrs ago that I dearly loved. It was a stray that had been dumped close to my house, and one day it was siting under my mothers trailer meowing very quietly, could barely hear it but,i finally found it,, nothing but skin and bones, starving,I had some lunch meat in the fridge and went in and got some and put it in a saucer and brought it out to it.it was scared and wouldnt come to get it until I moved way away from it, then it slowly came out and ate evey scrap.then it disappeared for a couple days, then came back, meowing softly again and I went in and found some more lunch meat for it, plus a bowl of milk and brought to it. it cleaned it up after i backed away from it, then it disappeared again for a few days.the next time it came back, it had a couple kittens with it, so I thought ohoh a female, butI fed them all, then they all disappeared again.they were all very wild.. eventually the kittens disappeared but the mother came back and I fed her each time, she finall decided I would not hurt her, so she gradually got braver each time she came, until i finally got to pet her,,and catch her and put in a cageand took her to the vet to be fixed. She ended up being the best pet I had ever had and I had numerous cats through the years, but, this one was the most loving cat I ever had, she stayed close to the house, and even when you didnt see her,I would step outside and she was by my feet in a minute, walking along side of me.The neighbor loved her too and tried to feed her some times, but, she would not eat no where but here....See Moremustbnuts zone 9 sunset 9
