I love your blooms. Minstrels fire was new for me last spring and the bloom looked pretty much like yours. It got better though as will yours. I do have a scape on her.

I really like the Munsons you have. Nice colors and ohh the watermarkings on WH. Looks a lot like Cherry Chapeau. I have and love that one....Ellie

Oh! I absolutely love the first one. What a pretty combination of colors int hat bitone. Or maybe it should be called a bi-color? On my monitor, it looks like the sepals are pinker than the lavendar petals. Very very pretty. Casey

Oooohhh... beautiful - as always! I only got two blooms on my new replacement Mokan Butterfly... so it is so nice to see more blooms on yours! Violet Vibrations is really something... I just love those three zones of purple eye! I can tell my gardens were inspired by yours... Mokan Butterfly, check. Raining Violets, check. Party Pinafore, check! LOL. I really do love your choices of flowers. Thanks for posting all the lovelies.

Forsyth Frostbound was never vigorous here. I don't miss it, even though the flower is unique. I'm sorry I messed with Annabelle's Blush, as it has been unproductive. Many of Maryott's intros are not suited to the North--something that Rita noted years ago. Green Mystique and Queen of Narnia are both showpieces. There has been tremendous progress in improving the vigor of whites with a yellow edge, probably in large part due to J.T. Davis. Now if there could be improvement in the scape height.

Nancy and Hoosier Nan - I think Royal Seal is going to be a good one. I'm looking forward to hybridizing with it. Hoosier Nan - Victorian Garden Heaven's Applause does have clearer petal color than some of the more complex patterns, and it performed well before the neighbors trees got so tall. The petal color is much darker than my photo when the night temps are low. Debra

Hey Jan, is that Strawberry Shortcake or Munson's Strawberry Cupcake? If it's Cupcake, then I'm very jealous! I just got Wimberlyway Heavenly Blush (and about 12 other Munsons) from Gene Wynn. Can't wait to see some blooms!

I like 'Sudden Fire' - very eyecatching. 'All The Magic' is beautiful too. I'll enjoy your photos while I wait for my plants to bloom.

Very nice Jan, thanks for posting them. I know how much time it takes to do so. I also have a hard time photographing some flowers. The camera just can't capture the real color.
