Thanks everyone! I think I confused some of you. My favorite bloom on Visual Intrigue was the first bloom, which is the last photo in this post (I posted this photo a few days ago too). I love the pattern and the almost blue metallic part was stunning - I'm disappointed that the rest of the blooms haven't had any hints of blue. Juliet

I really like Greta Grapette and Moth to a Flame! My Ballerina on Ice did well in the country before the big move, but it has sulked now for a couple of years. It has now decided it likes where it stays and has started blooming better. Some just don't like to be moved! I'm sorry to hear you didn't get what you purchased. I have two like yours now growing in our garden that definitely turned out to be the wrong cultivar after waiting until the next season's blooms to find it out. One is quite nice and the other has to go to make room for better things. I wish I had kept better records of which vendor they came from. Nancy

Some minis from the past couple days

Thanks everyone - I'm glad you liked them! I have some of my minis in a raised bed in the center of my garden and I like having them up higher so I can see them better. The rest are in front of the bigger daylilies. Another thing I like about minis is that they usually take up less space than the larger daylilies, so I have room for more of them. Cindy: When your SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS blooms, do post a pic. I've got that one too from Curt but it is not a star performer here yet. Debra: This many blooms this late has to be due to the amount of rain we got over the past month. I don't recall this much showing at this late date. Mantis: yes, earlier pics of GEECHEE were better but just shows how much a late opening with cool temps can do to a daylily. Celeste: I've admired your pics of COUSIN SUZANNE. The race is definitely on here too! Linda and Kay: I'm so thankful to get these blooms this late in the season. I'm always on the scape hunt because I just never know what will show itself. KIOWA SUNSET has always been a favorite of mine. It is registered as a EE but here, it doesn't start blooming till early July and the scapes are taller than 23" as registered. Well, the weather turned and we are already up at 60 degrees F here this morning. Rain, rain, rain so I guess that is why our temps moderated. Julia

I just love China Bride and Indy Charmer. I really need to breakdown and get those two. Pics of all are beautiful!

Super pictures! My favs are China Bride and Party Pinafore, but I like them all. I chuckled when I got to RAINING Violets and it had water droplets on it.

I have most of what you posted and agree China Bride is one of my top 10. Party Pinafore is on my list of look at. Love Indy Charmer, but at my age it's too short.

Oooohhh... beautiful - as always! I only got two blooms on my new replacement Mokan Butterfly... so it is so nice to see more blooms on yours! Violet Vibrations is really something... I just love those three zones of purple eye! I can tell my gardens were inspired by yours... Mokan Butterfly, check. Raining Violets, check. Party Pinafore, check! LOL. I really do love your choices of flowers. Thanks for posting all the lovelies.

They are all great. Your picture of China Bride is a stunner. Much more orange than mine though, mine is much pinker. Go figgure.

I love the coral-pink of China Bride with the white midribs and pink edges on the sepals - on my wish list it goes!
Indy Charmer is also very stunning, as are all the rest!
