One of my favorite Miniflora's. Leading Lady

The Barrone himself. Prevost that is. A VERY young bush.

Dark Night (Garden Director Bartje Miller) this past weekend.

Same bloom fully open today. For this rose to keep it's deep burgundy color, it MUST have afternoon shade.

Mrs F W Sanford. A really great OGR (HP, 1898) that needs to be grown by more people. I got mine from Roses Unlimited 4 yrs ago (hint, hint).

Nice roses Ken - for me, The Green Rose is an acquired taste - good looking plant though.

Thanks everyone - I'm so glad you liked the photos! pippi21-I haven't had most of these daylilies long enough to know if they'll rebloom or how tall they'll be for me. But I do know that Ballerina on Ice often puts up two scapes per fan for me. Debra - it's too bad your MW died. When I got mine last spring it was two fairly small fans and now it is still two fans - they're healthy but still not that big. Juliet

Truely angelic is beautiful, and I don't know why I haven't gotten Siloam David Kirchhoff yet, its so pretty. I got Autumn Wood in a trade last year, I have one scape on it, but it hasen't bloomed yet. Can't wait to see it! I actually had some poly's this year too. I wonder why they do that? -Jessica

Thanks everyone - I'm glad you liked them! I have some of my minis in a raised bed in the center of my garden and I like having them up higher so I can see them better. The rest are in front of the bigger daylilies. Another thing I like about minis is that they usually take up less space than the larger daylilies, so I have room for more of them. I really love your Dark Knight, Mrs. Sanford, and Baron Prevost!!!!

Mrs. Sanford looks like there's a lot of fragrance packed into the rose!! Am I right?

Mrs F W Sanford is PACKED full of fragrance. I bought this rose because I hadn't heard of anyone that was growing it and I wanted to see what it was all about. I knew that first summer it was a keeper. It has gotten bigger and fuller every year. What do I think of The Green Rose? It is a great conversation rose in the garden. Something different. Thank God it makes a good bush. Also when I do a rose show I always bring a spray with me to enter in the OGR class. Same reason. To introduce people to something different in the "rose world". It also makes a great filler in a bouquet.
