Cecilia, i should have thought of you and taken it to the spring swap but i feared it would fry in the car. Yes, there is a little white at the very center but it's hardly noticeable. i have two photos of the flowers - may have to post them sepertly. As for color: On the H.R.S. colour chart it is Fan 2 - Red - Purple Group # 67 A or B (some of both) I also have 'Botanica's ROSES'book, (it's about two inches thick with ID photos of amost 2000 roses) and on page 591 is a photo of one called 'Mr. Bluebird' my rose bonsai looks just like that photo. I will make note of the two you pointed out and look them up. Thanks, ~ Brian

We've had a blue jay pair in our rhododendron. I've been watching since it's also about 6 feet from our front door, up against our house. I got mama a birdbath and food, which she never used. So her eggs hatched and I watched daddy feed her, and then her feed her babies. This was so precious. But now they're all gone. Could they be renesting? I've had my field cam on them but it's not revealing if daddy or mommy transported the babies. I havent seen any critters either. I was really hoping I would get to see the babies grow. I feel bad bc I am not sure if her babies made it. 😔

i am not totally sure... if you tug at the yellow leaves do they pop off easily? How much do you water? Crassula like a good drink I have found, but if it is watered regularly and that's not it I would try a bigger pot.

I have a pair of blue birds that made a nest in my garage. They been occupying the nest for about 2 weeks. 3 days ago I heard little chirps, and saw momma in and out a lot. As of yesterday I have not seen her at all. The pair hung close around the house in trees. Haven't seen either since yesterday morning. There are 3 eggs not hatched and it looks like 2 babies. They are breathing. I am afraid they may die if momma don't come back. I know I could be missing her, but wondering how long must I wait before trying to foster the babies that are alive? I did put a grass blade over nest to see if it will be moved. I also live in Florida in case that matters due to hot weather.
