Is this just a coincidence?
Comments (4)Queen Anne's Lace is a real common wildflower (read: weed) in your location, isn't it? I remember it being THE roadside weed when I lived in more northern locations, as well as a predominant field and meadow flower. If I am remembering that correctly (it was only about 1/2 a million years ago, lol), then I'd guess that your plant was introduced sort of naturally. I've always loved it. I remember, vividly, road side ditches filled with common orange daylilies, blue chicory, and white QAL. How can anything get any prettier than that!...See MoreWeird coincidences
Comments (17)Love these...Here's mine, from yesterday in fact! I was cleaning out the kids rooms. My older daughter had a "I'm a Big Sister" book that was too young for her and was going to toss it out. Then, I thought, do I know anyone that is pregnant, in case someone else could use it? But no one came to mind. That night I got an email from a friend that she is pregnant (been trying for a long time) and has a 3 year old daughter, so the book would be a perfect fit!! I emailed her my congratulations and told her the story! iammadeofdreams...ohhh, your story gave me chills, but I also think it was your dads way of saying he's okay!...See MoreAccuracy of appraisal
Comments (2)Appraisers have had a petition before congress for years, imploring them to crack down on lending institutions that blackball appraisers who don't come in at a predetermined price...to no avail. Consequently, the appraiser either plays ball or closes up shop...as he/she will receive very little if any business otherwise. One more mystery solved regarding how so many homes were sold and mortgages issued for such inflated values....See MoreTile & decor for bathroom
Comments (2)JMHO, but, if you are going for "beachy" and "cottagey", I think I would do white beadboard versus subway tiles. I LOVE, LOVE subway tiles, but with your description, I'm just thinking beadboard would be lovely. If you are retiling the entire shower, I think that subways in there with a few deco tiles and clear glass shower doors would be very attractive. If you want to keep everything crisp and clean, I would but a 2" white hex tile on the floor. acountryfarm has some lovely showers with deco tiles.
